'Can we get past that?' said Durant. 'I know it's interesting. I know it takes up most of the off-season and selling drama, I get that, but I won't miss any games. I didn't miss any training sessions. I'm still here Hopefully we can get past it.'

 Durant requested a trade in June and reports claim he also asked for the removal of head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks. The 34-year-old forward withdrew the petition in August, insisting he now still believes in the Nets' future, after Nash said earlier this week he did not believe 100 per cent of the reports above.
